We collect information you choose to provide when you email us, request information, discuss a partnership or otherwise communicate with us. Our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website.

• Technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and security events.

3. How we use information

We use personal information only for legitimate business purposes connected to operating CTRY Labs and responding to you. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.

4. Legal grounds

Where South African law applies, we process personal information in accordance with POPIA. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the corresponding lawful bases.

5. Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare provides website hosting, content delivery, DNS and security. Zoho Mail handles our business email and correspondence. These providers may process technical requests or messages in countries where their services operate. Provider use must be covered by the applicable contractual and transfer safeguards; this notice is not a certification of a particular processing location or statutory authorisation. The Atlas policy separately identifies providers used by the customer service.

6. Cookies and analytics

The current CTRY Labs marketing website does not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking. Essential technical storage may be used by our hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

7. Retention

We keep enquiry and business correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, relationship, dispute handling and legal recordkeeping. Security logs are retained for bounded operational periods. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, unless law requires longer retention.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, least-privilege administration and security monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa or the relevant authority in your country. Email privacy@ctrylabs.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.

10. Children

Our websites and business products are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website.
